Last March 24, 2026, Hapag Kalinga officially concluded its six-day journey with hearts full of gratitude, hope, and renewed commitment to serving the community. From Day 1 to Day 6, the initiative became a powerful reflection of how compassion and unity can transform simple acts of giving into meaningful and lasting impact.
More than a feeding program, Hapag Kalinga evolved into a mission dedicated to nourishing lives, uplifting communities, and advancing the advocacy for Sustainable Development Goal #2: Zero Hunger. Through every shared meal, the initiative reminded everyone that kindness, when extended collectively, has the power to create change and restore hope.
The success of the program would not have been possible without the generosity and unwavering support of sponsors, partners, and volunteers who continuously gave their time, resources, and hearts to make the initiative meaningful for those in need.
Special appreciation is extended to the Institute of Behavioral Sciences – Student Government for sponsoring the free lunch for students last Wednesday, March 18, 2026. Their generosity brought not only nourishment, but also joy, encouragement, and comfort to the students who benefited from the initiative.
The organizers also recognize the dedication of every volunteer and supporter behind Hapag Kalinga. Their commitment to service embodied the true spirit of compassion and community, proving that even the smallest act of kindness can leave a lasting impact on the lives of others.
While Day 6 marks the conclusion of the program, the mission of Hapag Kalinga continues beyond the final meal served. The spirit of generosity and solidarity lives on in every heart touched and every life nourished throughout this meaningful journey.
Together, may the community continue to fight hunger and inspire hope — one meal, one act of kindness, and one shared purpose at a time.
