Fil-Am Charity Provides Support to KLD Nursing Student
On September 11, 2025, the Fil-Am Charitable Organization of San Diego, led by Josie Enriquez with former president Gil Enriquez, visited KLD to meet their Regal Scholar, BS Nursing student Gabriel Banta.

In a special visit to the Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Dasmariñas (KLD) on September 11, 2025, the Fil-Am Charitable Organization of San Diego, Inc., led by its president, Josie Enriquez and former President, Gil Enriquez, met with their "Regal Scholar," third-year BS Nursing student, Gabriel Banta.

They were warmly welcomed by President Dr. Juanito O. Cabanias, Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Regielene Gonzales, Associate Dean Nurse Herlyn Blasurca, the Institute of Nursing faculty, and select nursing students.
The visit was an opportunity to tour the campus, including the library, midwifery lab, and various computer and nursing labs, and to see firsthand the facilities supporting Gabriel’s education. They also connected with the nursing faculty, receiving a warm welcome from the college.

During their time on campus, KLD presented them with a plaque of appreciation for their remarkable financial support. This generous act is part of the organization's broader mission of giving back, which also includes providing assistance to Bahay PAG-ASA of DLSU-D and a facility run by nuns in Cebu. Their ongoing efforts highlight a powerful mission to support and empower communities.
