KLD Community Celebrates Stress Awareness Month Through Wellness and Connection
The KLD community came together for the Stress Awareness Month Celebration, promoting mental wellness, connection, and resilience through interactive and meaningful activities.

Last April 22–23, 2026, the KLD community successfully celebrated Stress Awareness Month through a meaningful initiative spearheaded by the Guidance and Counseling Services and Career Advice Unit. The two-day celebration became a vibrant and supportive space where students and participants were encouraged to prioritize mental wellness, manage stress positively, and strengthen connections within the community.

Through a variety of engaging and interactive activities, participants were reminded that stress can be faced with resilience, support, and collective understanding. The celebration featured energizing Zumba sessions that encouraged physical wellness and positivity, while activities such as the “Unload and Let Go Wall” provided a safe space for participants to express their thoughts, emotions, and personal burdens freely.

The community also enjoyed the interactive and mind-challenging activity “Guess the Impostor,” which fostered camaraderie, teamwork, and moments of joy among participants. More than entertainment, these activities created opportunities for meaningful conversations, emotional support, and shared experiences that strengthened the sense of belonging within the KLD community.

The celebration served as a reminder that mental health matters and that creating safe spaces for expression, connection, and support is essential in building a healthier and more compassionate academic environment.

The organizers extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated and contributed to the success of the event. Through every laugh shared, story expressed, and activity completed, the KLD community demonstrated the importance of facing challenges together with understanding and resilience.
