Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Dasmariñas (KLD) continues to strengthen its commitment to delivering quality, innovative, and industry-responsive science education through the continuous enhancement of its laboratory facilities. As part of its commitment to academic excellence, the institution has completed significant upgrades that provide students and faculty with a safer, more efficient, and more technology-driven learning environment for Academic Year 2026–2027.
Among the major improvements is the successful installation and full operation of gas pipeline systems in Science Laboratories 2207 and 2208, enabling students to perform laboratory experiments with greater efficiency while adhering to modern laboratory standards. To further enrich practical learning experiences, the laboratories have also been equipped with additional scientific instruments, including microscopes, centrifuges, spectrophotometers, analytical balances, vortex mixers, and water baths, along with an expanded inventory of laboratory glassware and chemicals.
To accommodate the growing number of science learners and strengthen laboratory instruction, KLD has established additional dry laboratory classrooms in Rooms 2202 and 2203 at College Building 2. The laboratory complex has likewise been reorganized with the creation of a dedicated Instrumentation Room (2204) and a separate Chemicals and Glassware Storage Room (2205), ensuring better organization, accessibility, and compliance with laboratory management standards.
Further enhancing the learning environment, Science Laboratories 2207 and 2208 have undergone facility upgrades with the installation of new laboratory tables and chairs, creating a more conducive space for collaborative learning and scientific investigation. Complementing these developments is the installation of essential emergency safety facilities, including safety showers, eyewash stations, and a fully operational fume hood, reinforcing KLD's commitment to maintaining the highest standards of laboratory safety and preparedness.
These enhancements reflect KLD's unwavering dedication to providing world-class learning facilities that empower students to develop scientific knowledge, technical competence, and research skills. By continuously investing in modern infrastructure and laboratory resources, the College ensures that every Regal learner is equipped with the tools and experiences needed to thrive in science, research, and innovation—living out KLD's mission of producing competent, compassionate, and globally competitive professionals.
