Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Dasmariñas (KLD) marks another significant milestone with the continuing development and operational readiness of College Building 3 (CB3), a modern facility designed to enhance learning, strengthen institutional operations, and provide an environment that supports excellence in education and public service. Through the collective efforts of the Campus Services and Space Management Unit (CSSMU) and the Center for Facilities Operations, Risk Management, Campus Support, and Engineering (CFORCE), the transition to CB3 has been carefully executed to ensure that its facilities are fully prepared to serve the growing needs of the KLD community.
The successful preparation of College Building 3 involved the orderly transfer of furniture, equipment, and office resources from existing campus facilities, the relocation of academic and administrative offices, the installation and testing of electrical and air-conditioning systems, and the continuous maintenance of classrooms and shared spaces. These coordinated efforts ensured that the building became a safe, functional, and student-centered environment capable of supporting both academic and administrative excellence while minimizing disruptions to college operations.
Designed to meet the evolving needs of students, faculty, and personnel, College Building 3 houses a wide range of modern facilities, including the College Learning Commons, Office of the President, Office of the Vice Presidents, Student Commons, Health Services Unit, Regal Café, President's Board Room, Function Hall, lecture rooms, discussion rooms, and specialized laboratories for the Medical Laboratory Science program. The building also features dedicated spaces for student organizations, research and innovation, administrative offices, and an accessible entrance for persons with disabilities, reflecting KLD's commitment to inclusivity, collaboration, and innovation.
