KLD proudly recognizes Engr. Jucar Fernandez, Dean of the Institute of Engineering, as its Employee of the Month. This distinction celebrates his leadership and the concrete results achieved by his department. Under his direction, the Institute recently celebrated a major win as its 3rd-year students became successful passers of the Safety Officers Training Examination. This is a direct result of his commitment to cultivating a safe workplace culture and ensuring students are prepared for the high stakes of the engineering profession.
The recognition also highlights the Dean’s success in turning academic blueprints into reality through community engagement. On March 6, 2026, Engr. Fernandez led a productive orientation for the parents of 2nd and 3rd-year students at the CB2 Gymnasium. The session provided a deep dive into the "structural pillars" of the current semester, detailing the path for Construction Occupational Safety and Health (COSH/SO2) certification, Hard Hatting ceremonies, Correlation Courses, and Thesis work. By bringing parents into the fold, Engr. Fernandez has strengthened the support system essential for producing unstoppable future engineers.
KLD extends its warmest congratulations to Engr. Fernandez for his unwavering dedication!
