The digital workforce continues to expand as McCare Career Academy, in collaboration with Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Dasmariñas, officially marked the graduation of its second batch of Virtual Assistant trainees on April 1, 2026. This signifies a successful partnership aimed at bridging the gap between traditional education and the evolving demands of the global remote work industry.
The intensive three-week program saw 12 dedicated individuals complete a hands-on curriculum designed to transform them into certified General Virtual Assistants. The cohort was notable for its multidisciplinary makeup, featuring 4th-year students from diverse fields such as Midwifery, Psychology, and Information Systems, as well as alumni.
Evidence of the program's immediate impact was seen when one student secured a position as an Analyst II for an AI training company even before the training had even concluded. The graduate credited the academy’s high-quality facilities, stable Wi-Fi, and supportive mentorship for meeting the rigorous technical requirements of the employer. This real-world success serves as a testament to the practical environment fostered within the KLD and McCare partnership.
Reflecting on their journey, graduates expressed a newfound sense of self-assurance. Ms. Borjal, an alumna, noted that the exposure to practical scenarios provided the confidence necessary to face the future, while BS Psychology student Ms. Delos Reyes-Camacho highlighted that the training instilled a sense of resilience and discipline beyond mere technical skills.
As these 12 graduates transition to virtual office, they carry with them a toolkit of administrative, technical, and creative skills tailored for a global clientele. McCare Career Academy and KLD remain committed to their mission of providing a gateway to remote work, celebrating this latest batch as they step into a future built with purpose and professional adaptability.
