The Office of the Vice President for Regal Formation and Mission, Research and External Affairs successfully held another insightful session of the JusTalks Webinar Series last March 7, 2026!
With the theme "Community Organizing Participatory Action Research (COPAR)," over 158 participants from various KLD institutes gathered via MS Teams to learn how research can be a powerful tool for social change.
We were honored to have the distinguished Dr. John Vincent J. Bucal—Development Specialist, Research Fellow, and Palanca Awardee—as our guest speaker. Dr. Bucal shared his expertise on transforming "passive recipients" into "active architects" of community development, emphasizing that the best research happens with the community, not just for them.
