Last February 21, 2026, the 2nd Orientation and Oath of Commitment of the Student Peer Discipline Agents (SPDA) was successfully conducted, bringing together student leaders dedicated to promoting integrity, accountability, and positive discipline within the academic community.
The event served as both a learning opportunity and a meaningful affirmation of the students’ commitment to leadership and service. Through insightful discussions and interactive engagement, participants were equipped with the knowledge and values necessary to become effective peer agents and role models on campus.
One of the key sessions was facilitated by Rizel D. Espinosa, who discussed “On Becoming Student Peer Agents (SPDA): Conflict Resolution Strategies.” The session emphasized the importance of fairness, empathy, communication, and responsible decision-making in handling conflicts among peers.
Another important discussion was delivered by Roy Ivan V. Delos Reyes, focusing on the Anti-Hazing Act of 2018. The session strengthened the participants’ awareness of student rights, campus safety, and the shared responsibility of creating a respectful and secure learning environment for everyone.
The highlight of the program was the Oath of Commitment, where the Student Peer Discipline Agents formally pledged to lead by example, uphold discipline with compassion and integrity, and serve as advocates for peace, respect, and accountability within the institution.
More than a ceremonial event, the orientation and oath-taking symbolized the beginning of a greater responsibility entrusted to the student leaders — to become empowered voices and champions of positive change in the community.
As the newly appointed Student Peer Discipline Agents begin their journey, the institution proudly recognizes their dedication to fostering a culture rooted in leadership, responsibility, and service.
