ISACEC Strengthens Institutional Collaboration Through Benchmarking Visit at UP Baguio
ISACEC conducted a benchmarking activity at University of the Philippines Baguio to learn best practices in student services and strengthen institutional collaboration.

Last February 27, 2026, the Institute of Student Affairs, Character Education and Citizenship (ISACEC) conducted a benchmarking activity at University of the Philippines Baguio to strengthen institutional collaboration and gain insights into effective student services and development programs.

The activity began with a welcome meeting and courtesy call with the University Chancellor and Vice Chancellor of UP Baguio. During the meeting, both institutions introduced their delegations and discussed the objectives of the benchmarking visit, fostering a collaborative and professional atmosphere. Representatives from the host institution presented various programs, initiatives, and best practices related to student welfare, engagement, and holistic development. An open forum followed, allowing participants to exchange ideas, ask questions, and share experiences regarding student services and program implementation.

As part of the benchmarking process, the delegation visited several offices and facilities, including the Office of the University Registrar, Office of Counseling and Guidance, Health Service Office, Student Relations Office, Office of Scholarships and Financial Assistance, Alumni Relations Office, the Program in Human Kinetics, and Museo Kordilyera. These visits provided participants with firsthand exposure to the university’s operational systems and service delivery practices.

The activity concluded with strengthened institutional ties and a renewed commitment from ISACEC to continuously enhance its own student services programs and initiatives.
