Kolehiyo ng Lungsod ng Dasmariñas celebrated its continued progress during the 3rd State of the College Address (SCA) held on January 29, 2026 at the Macavinta Hall. The KLD community reflected on a year defined by the theme, "KLD: Celebrating Growth, Creating Future Together". The event featured an address by Dr. Juanito O. Cabanias, LPT, President and College Administrator, who detailed the institution's recent progress and strategic direction. He delivered a presentation titled "KLD 2033 and Beyond Roadmap," which outlined a bold 4-point agenda focused on quality, research, competitiveness, and community engagement. The presentation also detailed a strategic roadmap aimed at transforming KLD into a certified university, with specific goals to achieve ISO certification and accreditation from agencies like ALCUCOA and AACUP. The ceremony was attended by prominent local leaders including Vice Mayor Third Barzaga alongside members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, showing a strong local government support for the city’s local college.
The Awarding Ceremonies highlighted the achievements of both the teaching force and the student body. The faculty awards recognized educators for a wide range of professional milestones, including success as Licensure Examination and Civil Service passers, as well as those named Staff and Office of the Month. Furthermore, the college honored the top 10 faculty members based on students' evaluations and acknowledged those serving as officers in local and international organizations. Academic contributions were also a priority, with recognition given for research publications, local and international paper presentations, and for those institutes which successfully acquired their Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC).
The College also paid tribute to the academic diligence and leadership of its students. High achievers included those named to the President’s List, board exam topnotchers, and the CHRA topnotcher. Outgoing student leaders from the Supreme Student Council and various Institute Student Councils were also commended for their service and dedication to the campus community.
